Frequently Asked Questions
What types of companies do you help?
I help B2B and B2C subscription businesses better understand their customers and fix their product messaging issues. While most of the companies I work with fall into the B2B SaaS camp, I’ve had lots of experience (and fun) helping well-established B2C recurring revenue businesses.
Who is your ideal client?
How nice of you to ask. I love working with customer-focused growth-stage startups to established brands that see UX research and on-point messaging as part and parcel of their marketing efforts. If you think investing in learning about your customers is a waste of resources, you’ve come to the wrong place.
How much does it typically cost to work with you?
Funnel assessments range from $3,500-$7,000. Larger UX research projects that include messaging strategy across target audiences and the customer lifecycle can cost between $12,000-$20,000+.
What if I want you to do the copywriting?
Any funnel assessment or roadmap will include detailed and specific copy recommendations. Optimized or new copy treatments are an additional investment after an initial research phase and depend on the scope.
How long do most projects take?
A tightly scoped funnel assessment that relies primarily on your existing customer research can take as little as 2-3 weeks. Expect 2-3 months for larger research projects.
What if I want you to consult with my team?
A workshop may be a great fit. Consider these workshops like hands-on consulting calls with your team designed to tackle a specific skill set or troubleshooting areas of the customer journey. They include pre-work and follow-up post-workshop. You can find out more about them on the Services page.
